PLEASE NOTE: On Thursday, June 19, the castle will close exceptionally at 4:00 PM, with last entry at 2:30 PM. Additionally, the Schlumberger Museum will be closed all day.

what's new in 2025!

- A temporary exhibition entitled ‘Making a good impression’ on the theme of living history and printing!
- A new historical re-enactment room on the first floor of the farm to find out more about sleep and hygiene in the Middle Ages!
- Two existing exhibitions have been upgraded and expanded: ‘Rural life in the Middle Ages’ and ‘Do you speak Middle Ages?

Summer events

summer at the castle

Animated workshops, dramatised tours, medieval games and visits to the castle await you all summer long from July 11 to 30 and August 14 to 29!

Knights' tournaments

On August 3rd and 4th, knights returns to the castle to amaze you with equestrian jousts and knightly tournaments!

The medievals

From 3 to 10 August, adventure into the heart of the Middle Ages with a unique living history event at Crèvecœur Castle!

Before the opening of the national road in the 19th century, the Chemin au Roy was the main entrance to the Château de Crèvecoeur. Along the walk, discover the landscape around the castle located on the lands of Crèvecoeur: the plants of the wet ditches and the trees of the marshes will no longer hold any secrets for you!

Join a scientific adventure through the centuries and live the life of an engineer, from 1911 to the present day! From your recruitment to your work out in the field, discover - over a recreational and interactive experience - the technological innovations that transformed scientific and technical research. Conduct your own experiments in a reproduced period decor!

Exceptional closure on August 2nd
October: open only on Sundays from 2 to 6pm
Autumn school break: every day from 2 to 6pm
